Tips: How to Transfer Files from Computer to Samsung, HTC, LG, Acer Android Phone via WiFi. There are several ways to transfers important data, musics, pictures and videos between your PC and Android phone. One way is to connect them using USB data cable. Another way is by using SD card as a medium to store the files from one location and move into the other. Lastly, you can actually transfer the files when both of your Android phone and PC are connected in the common wireless network (Wi-Fi).
This article will explain how to transfer data using Wi-Fi connection. The files that can be transferred are the one that stored on the phone’s SD card. Here is how to do it:
  • Make sure both your PC and phone are connected to the same wireless network.
  • Download and install SwiFTP Server

  • Launch SwiFTP and click the ‘Setup’ button.
  • Create a username and password.
  • Input /mnt/sdcard in the folder entry and click ‘Save’
  • On SwiFTP Server, Click the “Start” button and let it run and display the Wifi URL.
  • Go to your PC and open “My Computer”
  • Enter the Wi-Fi URL in the address Bar
  • Enter the username and password created previously.
Now you can access the data on your Android Phone’s SD card & transfer files between computer and your Android device over WiFi. When you finished transferring the files you can stop the SwiFTP application.
